About

Our Story

Angelo Ricci and his wife Armella arrived in Seattle in the early 1950s. Angelo’s was opened as a small delicatessen on the corner of SW 153rd and 6th Avenue in Burien in 1957, restaurant seating was added in 1961. Seven sons, two daughters and twenty-five grandchildren later, Angelo’s has become the institution that many of us rely on for family celebrations or just an intimate night out. The Ricci family originally came from the small town of Pisterzo, Lazio, Italy and generations have passed down their family recipes for us to enjoy.

Many of Angelo and Armella’s children and grandchildren can be seen at the restaurant every day; come in and say hi! We look forward to meeting you.
